The recipe below has measurements for tea bags and loose leaves. You can use whatever tea bags and loose leaves you currently have.
Freshly boil at 100°C or 212°F
This calming latte with honey has a sweetness that complements the beautiful floral qualities of chamomile. You can adjust it to suit your taste.
Vanilla extract can be made from pure or artificial ingredients.
This latte is best made with 1% or 22% milk. If you are looking for dairy-free options, almond and oat milk are great choices.
How to make a Chamomile Tea Latte
Here’s what you need:
Two loose-leaf chamomiles or two chamomile tea bags
1/2 cup water, boiling at 100degC/212degF
One tablespoon of honey (plus additional garnish, optional).
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
Cover loose-leaf chamomile tea bags or leaves with freshly boiled water and let it steep for five minutes.
After steeping, take out the tea bags and strain the tea leaves. Then, stir the honey until dissolved.
To froth, heat milk and vanilla. This can be done in a small saucepan on the stove using a handheld Frother or an electric Frother.
The frothed vanilla-flavored milk can be added to your cup of chamomile.
