We like to make masala tea with the following mix

Water 350m

100ml milk

Black peppercorns

Ten cardamom pods, crushed lightly

Fennel seeds

Cinnamon stick in small pieces

Peel and slice one teaspoon of ginger.

Method

Gather ingredients.

Spices together

Bring water to a boil

Add the teabag (you can also use leaves if you like) and herbs. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.

Add milk and sugar, and simmer for 2-3 more minutes.

Pour into a cup using a filter. Relax and enjoy!

Make masala tea with no milk

If you do not drink milk, can you still make masala tea?

You can drink masala tea even without milk. The tea is similar to a traditional one in that it can also be served without the milk. You should add more water than in the recipe above.

You can always add milk-free dairy to your tea to make it creamy and lighter. It is up to you. The spice mixture will still provide a tasty flavor.

Make spicy tea masala.

Masala tea is meant to be mildly spiced. However, some people like their tea spicier than usual. You can always increase the spice level of your tea by adding more ginger or cinnamon. Be aware, however, that these ingredients will change the taste of your tea.

Four teaspoons of ground cinnamon
